I received a Master from Linköping University (Sweden) and an MPhil from
University Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB). Recently I received my Ph.D. from UAB and I worked as a research assistant in a European Project (DIDSOLIT) about entrepreneurial activities in the renewable energy industry.
I am on my path to a career studying entrepreneurial internationalization in sustainable industries.
I am interested in how and why renewable energy companies commercialize their
technology and enter international markets. This interest has led me to study a wide variety
of topics, and ideas such as sustainable entrepreneurship, internationalization, technological commercialization, social acceptance, energy policy analysis, etc. Spain is a reach context to study this industry because 40% of electricity generates only from wind turbines, although recent financial crises and policy changes have impacted this industry negatively.
Now I am working at the University of North Carolina as an assistant professor of Management and I teach courses in International business, strategic management, and business simulation. I worked also as a visiting lecturer at Rowan University (New Jersey, USA). In Europe, I worked as an associate dean and assistant professor in Entrepreneurship at EAE Business School. I taught courses at ESADE Business School and the Autonomous University of Barcelona in Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management. If you have questions about me or my research, don’t hesitate to explore this site or contact me directly.
